JEAN PAUL GAULTIER "HIVA OA" TOP

Exotic lands and tribal garments have always been a source of inspiration of Gaultier. This top is an homage to the Marquesas island of French Polynesia, Hiva Oa, featuring prints of the local landscape and floral patterns. Such primitive themes recur throughout Gaultier's career and is the most prominent feature of the S/S 1994 show "Les Tatouages".
